Kiss or Kill
Lively and very likable story about two hapless grifters on the lam in Australia, pursued not only by the law but also their growing distrust in one another. 96 min Restricted violence.

Kundun
Martin Scorsese crafts a reverential, sombre version of the life and times of the current Dalai Lama. As beautiful as it is sad, Kundun is shot like an epic poem, exquisitely photographed and slightly surreal even within the frame of a chronological story. 135 min. AA mature theme

The Matchmaker
Janeane Garofalo stars in this feel-good comedy as a politician's aide who visits Ireland and finds herself in an annual 'matchmaking' festival. 96 min. PG.

The Rainmaker
Based on John Grisham's book, scripted by Francis Ford Coppola, and studded with a dynamite cast, this lawyer-tale takes on American big business with great success. PG 137 min.

Scream 2
A sequel to last year's super-satire of horror flicks, this one portrays characters willing to go to disturbing lengths for media attention as well as characters whose perceptions have clearly been warped by what they have seen on TV and film. 120 min. Restricted, violence.

The Tango Lesson
