To apply for a position on an Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Fire Ranger Crew, applications should be submitted to the Fire Management Supervisor at the MNR District Fire Management Headquarters. It is recommended that applicants apply to all OMNR fire management headquarters.
Your application package should include the following; cover letter, resume and seasonal MNR application, which can be obtained at your local MNR office. If you are unsuccessful in obtaining employment on a Fire Ranger Crew for the summer, you may still be hired on as a EXTRA FIRE FIGHTER (EFF) during fire emergency situations. Generally what this means is you are hired and released as needed, depending on the severity of the situation.

You can obtain an extensive mailing list of Natural Resources District Fire Management Headquarters when you register or during the course.
